“I provide new answers and new ways of thinking about everyday events”
I’m a lecturer in astronomy and physics
I complete research into important questions surrounding gravitational and quantum physics while lecturing students on physics, astronomy and cosmology. What science has observed at the quantum level has raised more questions than it has answered. Because of this I also give public talks on physics research, including my own work, explaining how it helps to solve big questions about the universe.
Quantum physics is the science of the very small. It explains how atoms and particles interact and behave in different situations. I provide new answers and new ways of thinking about everyday events that make scientific sense. My research has also helped to develop applications based on new techniques and a better understanding of fundamental physics.
Making nice new discoveries in theoretical physics and sharing them with others.
Science, maths, literature and history.
I’ve always had an unstoppable curiosity about how the Universe works, and amazement at the huge progress made by scientists.
